Ronaldo 'Knows' Who Will Win 2022 Ballon D'Or
For well over a decade now, the United faithful have been against the American family holding a majority stake in the Mancunian club.
Since legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson's departure in 2013, not only have the fortunes of the club descended at an alarming rate, but the fans' contempt for the Glazers has grown just as rapidly.
United's current ownership group has reportedly been taking dividends out of the club for the past six years, despite the team being starved of success on the football pitch.
There have been a few interested parties that have tried to acquire the Red Devils from the Glazers, but they have so far failed.
The most recent potential suitor was Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who revealed earlier this week that he held talks with Joel and Avram Glazer, during which the brothers insisted that the record Premier League champions were not for sale.
According to the Daily Star, however, the family, who also own American football franchise the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, would be willing accept an offer in excess of $10 billion (R183 trillion) for the English club.
Should any person or consortium make a bid of that size, it would make the three-time European champions the most expensive sports team on the planet.
