Cristiano Ronaldo bagged his 700th career goal as Manchester United rallied from behind to defeat Everton 2-1 at Goodison Park on Sunday evening.

Man United made four alterations from their heavy defeat against Manchester City, as Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelof, Casemiro and Anthony Martial were recalled.
The Toffees unsettled the Red Devils with a high press in the early stages as Alex Iwobi gave them the lead inside five minutes with a curling strike into the top corner after a threaded pass by Demarai Gray.
However, the visitors quickly got into the game as Antony levelled matters ten minutes later with a low curler after he was put through on goal by Martial.
As Man United gained the upper hand, they were forced to make a change on the half-hour mark after Martial hobbled in the field and he was replaced by Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, the Red Devils maintained their pressure going forward and after a couple of missed opportunities, Ronaldo gave them the lead on the stroke of half-time with a low left-footed drive at the near post after a through ball by Casemiro.
The opening exchanges of the second stanza did not produce much goal-mouth action, as the sides laboured around in midfield.
However, there was urgency after the hour-mark, with the game becoming transitional and Man United had a chance to get a two-goal cushion on 66 minutes after Marcus Rashford broke away on the right side but his cross was crucially cleared away by Seamus Coleman, with Ronaldo lurking on the far side.
Erik ten Hag's charges looked to pick off Everton, who were injecting energy going forward, on counter-attacks and Rashford thought he had put the game to bed in the last nine minutes after he found the back of the net from a rebound that put him through on goal but the goal was disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for a handball in the build-up.
Frank Lampard's troops seized the momentum in the dying minutes and James Garner came close to snatching the equaliser in stoppage time with angled shot in the box that was crucially parried away from the top corner by goalkeeper David de Gea.
The Toffees piled more pressure with successive corners as shot-stopper Jordan Pickford got into the thick of things as well but Man United desperately held on to move up to fifth on the table.
