France head coach Didier Deschamps has commented on Antoine Griezmann's bizarre situation with regards to his playing time at Atletico Madrid this season.
The French forward has remained in the Spanish capital for another season-long loan from FC Barcelona, but he is yet to start a single game this campaign.
All seven of Griezmann's appearances across LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League have come from the bench and neither of them have been for more than 30 minutes.

Griezmann has been limited to the second-half cameos due to a clause in his contract that would force Atletico to pay €40million to Barcelona if he plays more than 30 minutes in a game.
Despite his situation, Griezmann was still called up to the France squad to face Austria and Denmark later this month.
"It's a situation you all know about. I don't want to go into the situation he's in with his club, but it's clear that it limits his playing time", Deschamps said, according to SPORT.
"He is still a crucial player at the club level and he aspires to play more than 30 minutes. It could be a good time for him to play more minutes for us".
