The North London outfit has announced the signing of Portugal midfielder Gedson Fernandes on an 18-month loan deal from Benfica.
The 21-year-old was heavily linked with London rivals West Ham United since the beginning of the month, but Spurs have swooped in to secure the midfielder's services.

Fernandes has already racked up 59 appearances for Benfica, and has also represented Portugal at senior level.
