SLTV brings you a short clip of Ajax Cape Town head coach, Roger De Sa, on the recent transfer of Erwin Isaacs.

Isaacs joined Ajax on loan from Bidvest Wits in the second half of the 2014/15 season. He eventually returned to 'The Students' at the end of the season and many felt that the Urban Warriors had made a mistake in not trying to sign the player permanently.

That all changed when Isaacs was released from his contract on the last day of the trasnfer window, with Ajax snapping him up on a free.

When asked if the only reason the club signed him permanently was because he was a free agent, De Sa stated that the club "did make an offer for him when he left the club."

"We never gave up on (Isaacs)... It was never that we didn't try to get him, we did try.

"We couldn't really meet what (Wits) were asking for but we made a respectable offer which was turned down, and they eventually let him go for free."
