William Twala May Get Kaizer Chiefs' Number 7 Jersey

Kaizer Chiefs winger, William Twala, could be rewarded with the club's number seven jersey this season following his impressive start to life at the club. Read: Komphela On Chiefs' New Signings Twala joined the Amakhosi back in January after they snapped him up from Chippa United, and was one of the few players to end the campaign with some praise from the club's fanbase. Now, after his number 29 jersey was given to new signing, Ryan Moon, the Siya crew has been informed that Twala is set to be given the number 7 jersey that, for nearly a decade, has only been worn by two people. Kaizer Motaung Junior donned the jersey from 2006 all the way through to his retirement in 2014, with Katlego Mphela wearing it for one campaign before his release last year. Now, as Twala looks to build on his start to life at Naturena, he will be hoping that the famed number can help him push on even further.
