Sources close to both the PSL and Royal AM indicated that the league is believed to have granted Royal AM a month to resolve their issues and get their affairs in order or face the potential consequences.
Insiders added that the KwaZulu-Natal-based side has until the end of February to address their financial predicament or risk further action from the PSL.
"In the meeting it was believed that they agreed that Royal AM should sort out their problems within a month so that the league can know how to sort out the fixtures. For now, the curatorship is the one running matters at Royal AM as the club works on sorting out their debt with SARS and the deadline for the PSL is February, month end, " the Siya source stated.

A second insider close to the club stated that the meeting with the PSL prompted Royal AM to find a solution.
"One of the ways of trying to resolve the problem they are facing is by trying to sort it out in the courts by asking the courts to allow the curatorship to give them the chance to run their football affairs," the second insider stated.
