Wits' Bafana Bafana international, Sibusiso Vilakazi, has jetted out to Denmark to begin a trial with Danish giants, Brondby IF.
The 24-year-old, who has been captaining the Clever Boys, has long since been linked with a move away from Mzansi, and it seems that he has now been granted his chance.
It has been confirmed that the talented midfield man has already left Mzansi, and will join up with Brondby's first team for their training sessions later this week.
However, Vilakazi could even be in action before that, with him available to feature for Brondby's reserve side in some of their games today and tomorrow.
Per Rud, the club's sporting director, told their official website, "We get regular bulletins from Wits, therefore they are also related to Sibusiso Vilakazi , who has a prominent role on the team in terms of his duties as captain.
"I saw him in action as Wits played 0-0 in a league game last week, and now we have invited him here, so we can teach each other a little better. The timing is good as Wits has over a week between league games right now and there are no national team games."
Vilakazi, who was previously a target for both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, will be hoping to impress during his spell Europe as he attempts to possibly earn himself a contract there.
