Danleigh Borman, the son of the legendary former Cape Town Spurs, Santos and Glendene striker, Daniel, has signed for National First Division outfit, Vasco da Gama.
The left back, who previously played in the US for New York Red Bulls and in 2008 scored his first Major League Soccer (MLS) goal against David Beckham's LA Galaxy, before spells with SuperSport United and Mpumalanga Black Aces, is one of a number of new acquisitions at Parow.
The other men include the experienced former Chippa United and Maritzburg United goalkeeper, Abduraghmaan White, plus two centre backs, Sibusiso Mokoena and Johannes Motlhaping.
Vasco team manager Kenny Gertse also confirmed that the veteran striker/midfielder Jonathan Armogam has returned after being on the books of third-tier ASD

"We are also evaluating guys like goalkeeper Noel Yobou, well-travelled striker Joseph Lekata, winger Tshowana Mokonyana, midfielder Tumelo Mopedi and two youngsters from Stellenbosch.
