The University of Pretoria strengthened their squad with the signing of midfielder, Morgan van Rooyen, on a one year deal by the National First Division outfit.

Van Rooyen played for Santos in the NFD during the 2015/16 season. The 28-year-old is a former Maritzburg United player, who was discovered through the Nedbank Ke Yona talent identification programme.
Van Rooyen's agent, Mpho Machaba, from G and Q Management Sports Agency, confirmed the player's move to Tuks.

"Morgan van Rooyen has signed with Tuks. It's a one year deal. The player is now available to help Tuks to go back to the PSL," said Machaba.
