According to the Mother City outfit that will be campaigning in Mzansi's second tier after purchasing the status of FC Cape Town, Sibanda scored 10 goals in 16 games Bantu Rovers in Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.

"We are tremendously excited about the quality that Bukhosi brings to our squad. He is a young player who already is at a very high level, but with huge potential to get even better," Ubuntu chairman Michael Jenkins said in club's press release.

The team's coach, Roger Links, is happy for the player's move.

"I believe we have signed one of Zimbabwe's top young talent. We have secured a player who will bring pace, creativity and goals to the team. While our time together has been limited, Bukhosi has already brought a vibrant energy to the group.

"He is a confident and intelligent young man and I believe he will develop even more during his time at Ubuntu Cape Town," said the coach.

"I'm really glad and happy to be joining Ubuntu Cape Town. It's a great honour for me because it's a new experience and I'm ready to work for the team. I'm grateful for the opportunity given to me by the club," the 20-year-old told the club's website.
