Thuso Phala To Plough Back To Soweto Community

SuperSport United winger, Thuso Phala will host youth tournaments as a way of ploughing back to his community in Soweto. Pirates Target Set For SuperSport Exit Phala will use the Absa Premiership off-season to stage the tournaments, with the first one set to commence on Youth Day, June 16 as well as on June 17. The second tournament, called the Winter tournament, will run from June 29 to July 18, and the final one, which is a women's tournament will be hosted on National Women's Day on August 9. Phala's mother, Susan Phala confirmed to the Siya crew about her son's tournaments. "Yes, it's true that Thuso will be hosting different tournaments in Soweto, but all the logistics of the different tournaments will be concluded soon and we will communicate with all the stakeholders. "Thuso wants to plough back to the community hence he is organising and hosting these tournaments," Phala concluded. The Bafana Bafana midfielder is just one of few PSL stars who are taking the initiative to give back to the communities they hail from, after Siyabonga Nkosi of Kaizer Chiefs and Bongani Zungu of Mamelodi Sundowns, who also have upcoming soccer tourneys.
