Speaking to Soccer Laduma in an exclusive interview, Section 10 as the player is affectionately known, explained the difference between skill being used with purpose and pointless dribbling.
"It just happens. If you check, Thabo Rakhale will never do a skill when the team is losing.
"I won't perform a skill when we are losing, especially where I'm standing in one place. I'll try to take on defenders going forward, while performing a trick in the process," Qalinge told Soccer Laduma.
The Mayfair-based outfit were drawn against the current best team in South Africa, Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals.

Qalinge highlighted timing as the most important factor, when utilising his skills.
"The timing is very important. You can try a skill in the dying minutes of the game when you are enjoying a comfortable lead, just to wind down the clock. That's often when the coach will tell us, "Enjoy, guys, but only going forward." Qalinge said.
