Mamelodi Sundowns' impressive league form could be a blessing for Bafana Bafana, ahead of the team's participation in the third African Nations Championship (CHAN) in 2014.
The Brazilians are at the summit of the PSL log with four wins after six games and are the only PSL side that is yet to lose a league game in the 2013/14 campaign, while still have a game in hand.
Strikers Katlego Mphela and Katlego Mashego opened their scoring accounts this week, during the team's home game against AmaZulu on Tuesday. Both players scored two goals each as Sundowns crushed their opponents 7-1 at Loftus Stadium.

The players' goal scoring form could benefit Bafana in the near future if they continue to hit the back of the net and impress Bafana coach Gordon Igesund.
At their best, both players can help in the national team's goal scoring department as Bafana will be looking to assemble the best team available for the tournament of local-based players.
Can Mphela and Mashego maintain form to help Sundowns while impressing Bafana selectors?
