The Premier Soccer League chairman, Dr. Irvin Khoza, confirmed that Senzo Meyiwa's insurance pay-out has been received by the league.

Meyiwa, who was the number one goalkeeper for Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana, was gunned down in Vosloorus in October last year.
Earlier today (Tuesday), the PSL chairman and CEO Brand de Villiers invited the media to a post annual general meeting press conference.
It has since emerged that the announcement about Meyiwa's insurance pay-out has been among the topics on the league's agenda.
"The Senzo Meyiwa insurance payout has been received by the league. We will notify the family, the club and beneficiaries in a proper manner," Khoza is quoted as saying on the league's Twitter account.

In other news, Khoza announced that De Villiers is leaving his CEO position as of today to take up a position at MultiChoice.
