TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic says they knew exactly how Orlando Pirates would play after securing a vital win on Monday afternoon.
The Rockets boosted their survival push as Lifa Hlongwane's first-half strike secured a 1-0 win over the Buccaneers at the Mbombela Stadium.
Ramovic had nothing but praise for his players who he claims followed the entire game plan throughout.
"Eid Mubarak for all Muslims in South Africa, it's a great day. Secondly, thanks to the supporters and congratulations to the opponent for a fair and tough game," Ramovic told SuperSport after the game.
"We had a game plan and sticked to it but now of course it could be easy that I stand here and try to explain.
"I have the highest qualification as a coach, I've played with one of the best players in the world, I had one of the greatest coach.
"But no, all the credit goes to the team. They did an unbelievable job, they sticked to the plan, we were absolutely controlling as a collective and proper structure even if we were not controlling possession.
"We forced the opponent to play in the space where we actually wanted to play in, so it was a fantastic day. We started well, we defended well and I just want to give big credit [to the players] for the spirit, for the fight, they fought for every inch.
"And for the pressure, we had to win, we had to get the points. Of course we're still [near] the drop zone and it's not easy to play with this kind of pressure and I have to give a lot of credit to my guys, they just deserved the win.
"I can stand here and talk about all the things, how we managed, how we trained the whole week. We had our game plan, we knew exactly how the opponent play, it was a great job from my team.
"But we now have to prepare for the next game because we're still in the drop zone but for a day we can be happy but from tomorrow we have to stick [together] and try to get the points that we need."
