In welcoming the players at their new club, Pirates' assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena has told them about the importance of looking beyond being a footballer and what happens on the football pitch.

"You are a footballer for 90 minutes. The rest of the time you are a human being. We are going beyond football and what happens on the pitch here. We are focused on developing good human beings," Mokwena is quoted as saying on the club's official Twitter account.

"Don't think less of yourself, think less about yourself. We do whatever it takes for this badge, we serve this badge," added Mokwena as quoted by the club.
