The PSL has applauded the police for their work as the suspects in the stadium violence case have been denied bail after appearing in court in Durban.
The PSL confirmed that four people were arrested over the weekend, following the Telkom Knockout quarter-final matches that were played at Moses Mabhida Stadium at the weekend.

As confirmed by the PSL, four of the six suspects that were arrested over the weekend during the TKO quarter-final matches appeared in the Durban Magistrate Court and were denied bail.
The four suspects appeared on charges ranging from selling fake tickets, pitch invasion and theft at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, as confirmed by the PSL.
"Four of the six suspects that were arrested in Durban over the weekend during the Telkom Knockout quarter-final fixtures appeared in Durban Magistrate Court and were denied bail. The four faces various charges ranging from selling fake tickets, pitch invasion and theft at Moses Mabhida Stadium," confirmed the PSL in a statement.
"They were detained over the weekend at Durban Central Police Station. Because of the seriousness of the charges, the four will remain in custody after the Magistrate denied them bail. The League will advise on the future date of their appearance in court," read the PSLs statement.

"The Premier Soccer League has applauded the work of the South African Police Service and the collective effort towards restoring law and order at our football matches. The League believes this bold step, including the move to deny bail, will send a clear message that hooliganism at football matches will no longer be tolerated and that there are serious consequences for those who break the law including those who engage in the sale of fake tickets at stadiums. The suspects who appeared in court and were denied bail are: Zipho Dube (Pitch invasion), Smiso Shandu (Possession of counterfeit goods: ticket), Thembinkosi Ndwandwe (Possession of counterfeit goods: ticket) and Thamsanqa Mkhwanazi (Theft)," confirmed the PSL.
