Meyiwa was tragically shot and killed in October 2014 at the age of just 30, and while the hunt for his killers goes on, it seems the issue of his insurance is now drawing to a close.
Speaking to the media after the announcement of Siyabonga Sangweni's retirement today, Khoza explained that the club will be meeting the Meyiwa family next week to try and 'close that chapter'.
Khoza said, "Next week we will finally call the family now for the last time, to deal with the issue of Senzo's insurance payout with the PSL. We spoke with the father yesterday, and confirmed that they are available for next week for this very important issue.
"We hope that we will be inviting the media thereafter to communicate, for the last time, and close the chapter on the Senzo Meyiwa issue with his insurance. We hope that will be enough to close that chapter.
