The midfielder, who will be seeing his contract with Tuks expiring at the end of the season, has attracted interest from Bidvest Wits and SuperSport United.
His former coach, Steve Barker, is said to be keen on luring him to AmaZulu for next season. With the number of PSL clubs linked to Matsi increasing, it seems that the Mamelodi-born player might be making a move away from the Tshwane outfit at the end of the current season.
Matsi, 25, has been with Tuks throughout his professional career. The player is believed to be looking for a new challenge to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Andile Jali and George Maluleka, who moved to other clubs, after starting their careers at the Tshwane outfit.
Still with Tuks, the club is expecting the arrival of Vukile Mngqibisa at the end of the season.
The defender, who is currently on the books of Polokwane City, signed a pre-contract with Tuks in January.
