The Brazilians are on a mission to catch Kaizer Chiefs at the summit of the Absa Premiership log, for a chance to defend the league title they won last season.

The Chloorkop side is also involved in the Nedbank Cup, as well as the CAF Champions League.

"It is always great to enjoy the feeling one gets after a successful weekend of football. We were playing the CAF Champions League on Saturday at the Loftus Versveld Stadium. Our first match against Seychelles Champions, St Michel (United), ended in a stalemate. The return match had to be a win for us, and yes it was. The three goals we scored with no response from them secured a 4-1 aggregate score for us.

"Coming back to local news, we recently won our first match of the Nedbank Cup to advance to the round of 16. The next hurdle will be Platinum Stars on the quest to make it to the quarter-finals. This will indeed be a tough game for both teams. We will be prepared for the contest, when the day comes though.

"The next fixture is an Absa Premiership match on Tuesday evening against Bidvest Wits. This will be the third match of the league, since returning from the mid-season break. Playing in three different competitions is not easy but we have won four out of the five matches we have played.

"The players are confident about the way we play. Everyone in the camp knows what we have to do to keep the results coming. Keep watching us play and we will keep you entertained with the best football in Mzansi. We aim to extend the winning run to keep our supporters happy. The future is bright Masandawana. Until next time, Ka Bo Yellow!," the General wrote on his official website.
