Mamelodi Sundowns star, Khama Billiat, has requested that his name not be dragged into matters to do with politics.

Billiat made the request on social media. It is not clear at this stage what the Zimbabwean is referencing his request to.
Throughout this week, Billiat's home country has been in the news for its political situation as reports link President Robert Mugabe with exit from his position.
However, Billiat hasn't explained what he is referring to when he pleaded on Twitter that his name not be dragged into matters to do with politics.
"Can I respectfully request that my name not be dragged into matters that have to do with Politics. I'm a Professional Footballer and wish to remain as such! #TheRealKhamaBilliat," tweeted the football star.

Billiat is nearing the end of his contract with Sundowns. He has been linked with local and overseas moves.
