Mamelodi Sundowns are leading the race in the interest for Ajax Cape Town defender, Ayabulela Magqwaka.
The 18-year-old national U20 captain has attracted interest from a few clubs in the PSL, following his impressive performances for the Ephraim Mashaba-coached side.
Magqwaka's representative Lizwe Mthethwa of Aftesec Sports Group confirmed to the Siya crew that he had a meeting with Sundowns about the player.
"With regards to Ayabulela, we've been talking to Mamelodi Sundowns. I had a meeting there. They are leading the race for the boy right now. Nothing has been finalised yet because Ari (Efstathiou) has been away for some time. I and my associate Mike Makaab are working very hard on the matter," said Mthethwa.
University of Pretoria and Wits are some of the clubs that have been monitoring the player's progress with interest.
