Kaizer Chiefs centre-back, Lorenzo Gordinho, has revealed what he learnt when watching the former defensive combination of Erick Mathoho and Tefu Mashamaite.

The 22-year-old has managed to become a regular feature in the Amakhosi starting line-up, alongside Bafana Bafana international, Mathoho.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma in an exclusive interview, the Benoni-born player said that Mashamaite and Mathoho formed the spine of that Stuart Baxter-led Chiefs team.

"I learnt that we won titles because of them because they were so solid for the team for the whole season. It showed the other defenders in the team that we should be the pillars of the team if we want to win titles.
"The players in front were flamboyant and we need to hold strong at the back to win those games, " 'Freedom' added.
