The 23-year-old Zimbabwean has spent the last six months without playing any football after his loan with Greek side, OFI Crete, was cut short halfway through.
Now, after trying his luck with Dynamos and Harare City in his home country of Zimbabwe, as well as NFD sides, Royal Eagles and Cape Town All Stars, he has failed to secure himself a new club.
The Siya crew recently reported that the centre-back had found himself in limbo having not been registered by Chiefs, and was not even training with the team at Naturena.
Half of his problem has now been solved, with the player having been released from the club, meaning that he can now sign with any club of his choice without them having to negotiate a loan of transfer fee with Chiefs beforehand.
It remains to be seen whether the defender will be able to find himself a new club in South Africa, or whether he will have to return home to Zimbabwe in search of his next move, though it seems he may have a difficult task on his hands given the fact that he hasn't played a competitive game of football since November of last year.

The Siya crew will continue to monitor Zvasiya's situation to see whether he does manage to land himself a new deal in the near future.
