Leopards Appoint Papic To Join Technical Team

Just days after leaving Ghana, Kosta Papic is back in the Premier Soccer League.

The former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs coach left Ghanaian outfit Hearts of Oak earlier this week, after only two months in the job, and has now joined Lidoda Duvha as technical manager to try help them avoid relegation.

Papic was unveiled by the club during a virtual press conference on Thursday. February 18, and will work alongside head coach Lehlohonolo Seema and his assist

"We know need to bolster. We've got young coaches in Lehlohonolo Seema, Morgan Shivambu and Mongezi Bobe. So, we have decided to rope in a technical manager to come and impart knowledge to these young coaches as we plan for the future," Tshifhiwa Thidiela told the media.

"He will be in charge of the coaches and the technical issues from the first team, going down to the development."

This is not the first time Papic is at Leopards, though he previously served as head coach. He was at the club during the 2013/14 campaign.

Leopards, who have already parted ways with two coaches this season in Dylan Kerr and Belgian mentor Patrick Aussems, are bottom of the table and desperately need to start winning matches to get themselves out of trouble.
