Kaizer Chiefs' Brilliant Khuzwayo Has Picked Up An Injury

Chiefs Look To Mweene?
Komphela has already had two of his shot-stoppers ruled out for the immediate future after both Luthando Sixhaso and Brylon Petersen both underwent operations, and it now looks as though Khuzwayo could be joining them on the medical table.
Khuzwayo posted a video on his Instagram account that showed Chiefs' head physio, Dave Milner, strapping up his ankle, while fellow injured player, William Twala, watches on.
The Siya crew previously reported on the Amakhosi's potential interest in Mamelodi Sundowns' Kennedy Mweene, and this latest potential injury could see them up their efforts to bring him in in January should it prove to be a serious knock.
It remains to be seen how long Khuzwayo faces on the sidelines should he be injured, however, given that Chiefs have only Itumeleng Khune fully fit at present, Komphela will be crossing his fingers that it is not serious.
Meanwhile, both Twala and Sibusiso Khumalo are doubtful for the encounter against Sundowns on 19 November after sustaining ankle and knee injuries respectively against Free State Stars.
Steve Komphela may have been dealt another blow to his goalkeeping department after Brilliant Khuzwayo was seen being strapped up by the club's physio.
