Having started the season with new signing Bradley Cross as the first choice left-back, Chiefs could look to add another player to compete with him after the former Golden Arrows man appeared to struggle with his performances in some matches.
Against Stellenbosch FC recently, Cross was substituted early in the first half for Tebogo Potsane, although the 23-year-old did start again in the match that followed against Arrows.
With Happy Mashiane linked with a move away from Chiefs, and Bongani Sam who is another left-back in the team having struggled with injury since joining the club during the pre-season, Kabini has emerged as a target to strengthen the squad for Nabi and his technical team.
