Former Orlando Pirates striker, Jerry Sikhosana, is now coaching Tornado FC, an Eastern Cape-based ABC Motsepe League team.
Besides being a football analyst on TV, the Orlando Pirates legend is passionate about coaching and was at one stage at the helm of M Tigers, where the likes of Thabo Matlaba and Bheki Nzunga honed their skills before making it to professional football.
According to sources, he has now joined the Eastern Cape side. The news was confirmed by Mhlobo Boyce Nkila, who used to be involved with the club.
He said, "I'm no longer part of the club, but I can confirm that Jerry is now coaching there. Please speak to the owner, Siphiwo 'Mawawa' Nyopo, for further details." However, Nyopo could not be reached at the time of writing.
Affectionately known as 'Legs of Thunder', Sikhosana is tasked with promoting the club to the National First Division, and has already taken charge of a couple of games.
