Defensive errors proved costly for Amajita as they lost 3-1 to Qatar in an international clash at Grand Harmad Stadium in Doha on Saturday evening.

Amajita started off well but Qatar goalkeeper, Mohannad Naim, was on top form denying the visitors on numerous occasions.
The home side took the lead just before the halftime break courtesy of a free-kick from Hilal Mohammed, leaving goalkeeper Jethren Barr with no chance.
Amajita introduced Tshepo Liphoko in the second half and eventually leveled matters in the soon after that thank to a finish from Pule Maraisane.
However, Qatar hit back with two unanswered goals, firstly Mohammed Ala'ddin slotted past Barr, after a fine run from the youngster.
While, Saoud Al Khallaqi beat the offside trap to slot past Barr for the third.
Amajita leave for Russia on Sunday to take part in a 12-nation tournament which runs until 25 January.
