Highest Bidder To Sign Letlapa: Chiefs, Pirates & Downs In The Race

Highest Bidder To Sign Letlapa: Chiefs, Pirates & Downs In The Race

As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Pirates and Sundowns have been closely monitoring Letlapa, and on Friday morning the Siya crew reported how Chiefs are also interested.

"You remember that player that was given a red card when Sekhukhune United lost 1-0 to Kaizer Chiefs? The left back, Vuyo (Letlapa). Chiefs are interested in him and they have inquired about him. He is one of the upcoming left backs and he is very good. They know that it's believed that Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns are also monitoring him so let's wait and see what will happen. But now it will boil down to who is willing to pay more than the rest. The highest bidder will get the player. Yes, he is in demand at the moment and that's why the highest bidder will be the winner," the Siya source stated.

A second insider mentioned that Chiefs have prioritised three positions for the upcoming winter transfer window: left back, attacking midfielder and striker.

"The team's main targets are left back, attacking midfielder and striker. Yes, they are also looking at the goalkeeping department but they apparently feel that if they can get a good left back, excellent attacking midfielder and top striker then half of the work for next season is done and since it looks as if it will be difficult to get Fawaaz Basadien from Stellenbosch FC they are looking at, and monitoring Vuyo Letlapa from Sekhukhune United for now," the second insider stated.

This publication reached out to Chiefs for comment, but there was no response at the time of publication.
