Former Orlando Pirates star midfielder Bennett Chenene has hinted at retiring from professional football.
Since last year, Chenene has been playing in Côte d'Ivoire after he finally got a chance to revive his career at Williamsville Athletic Club in that country's top division, after four years without a team.
The Sebokeng-born player had been without a club since he parted ways with SuperSport United in 2015.
However, with the winger now past his 36th birthday, he has hinted at his future plans, should he decide to hang his boots.
"They like South African players here, and there is a market for them. I am planning on helping more South African players to come this side and play their football here. It's something I am already working on as I am planning to become an agent at the end of my football career," Chenene told the Siya crew.
Already, Chenene has helped his homeboy Mzokhona Ngezana – who is the brother of Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana – to sign with WAC.
