A former Mamelodi Sundowns general manager has joined many in the football fraternity in sending well wishes for 2021 after a number of disruptions, but paid tribute to the smooth running of the league last year.
Although he is currently unattached since parting ways with Chippa United in December 2018, Peter Koutroulis is a well-known official who boasts over 30 years of experience in football administration, and like many in the game, he has been unhappy with the disruptions due to the Covid-19.

However, the ex-Chippa CEO remains hopeful that things would change for the better this year, and for operations in and outside of football to return to normal .
"I would like to wish a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to everybody in the soccer family, players, staff (and) coaches. I wish everyone good health and I wish this Coronavirus could run away from all of us," he said.

"I wish that 2021 would be a successful year and I am wishing for happiness for all of us and may God bless everybody," Koutroulis concluded.
