Abia Nale

A former Kaizer Chiefs star has joined the list of former professional footballers who are getting into coaching post their playing careers.

In recent years, the likes of Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Morgan Gould, Joseph Makhanya and Gerald Modabi have been handed roles at different clubs in the PSL for their respective development teams and to give them experience in their new fields.

"Yes, he is helping with coaching the academy boys full time. He is preparing to attend a coaching course to empower himself," confirmed the uncle.

"I had to push him because he played under great coaches and having also come from the development structures at Orlando Pirates. The boys really enjoy being around him," concluded Nale.

Golden Arrows, Ajax Cape Town (now known as Cape Town Spurs), Mpumalanga Black Aces and Platinum Stars are some of the clubs that 'Soul Provider', as Nale is known in football circles, played for.
