Soccer Laduma has learnt of the passing of former Golden Arrows defender Joseph Henyekane.
Siya sources close to the Henyekane family confirmed the news to Soccer Laduma on Tuesday evening.
Henyekane, is the younger brother of Free State Stars' Richard.
The Henyekane brothers both burst onto the scenes at Arrows before moving on, Richard to Mamelodi Sundowns, and Joseph to Mpumalanga Black Aces.
Henyekane, who was only thirty, joined Wits briefly after his Aces stint, but never played for the club, and his last professional contract was at Roses United in Bloemfontein.
He had recently been back home in Kimberley where he was keeping fit playing for SA Police team in the amateur leagues.
Soccer Laduma sends condolences to the Henyekane's family and friends.
