This weekend we focus on a number of interesting European ties, while the standout fixture locally will be the CAF Champions League Final first leg, between Orlando Pirates and Al Ahly.
On the international front, we have Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain taking on Lorient while in Germany Borussia Dortmund take on Stuttgart.
A mouth-watering tie waits in England where Arsenal and Liverpool face off while a tough clash between Everton and Tottenham Hotspur also awaits.
In the PSL, SuperSport United and Platinum Stars trade blows along with Bloemfontein Celtic and Maritzburg United.
Pirates will be hoping to take the advantage in their final first leg against Egyptian giants Al Ahly, who have steadily improved as the competition has gone on. Who will get the upper hand?
If you are a betting person, here are tips ahead of the fixtures brought to you by Soccer 6 and guest predictor, former PSL midfielder, Stanton Fredericks.

PARIS SAINT GERMAIN V LORIENT
League position: PSG 1st and Lorient 18th
Useful facts: French juggernauts PSG appear to be close to running away with the league title in France once again. The Zlatan Ibrahimovic-inspired outfit are packed with quality and will look to savagely maul Lorient at home. The visiting minnows can only say their prayers and hope for a draw.
Stanton Fredericks: This is obvious. PSG win.
BORUSSIA DORTMUND V VFB STUTTGART
League position: Dortmund 2nd and Stuttgart 8th
Useful facts: Dortmund continue their relentless pursuit to stay in touch with league leaders, Bayern Munich. They will have their chance to keep pace with FC Hollywood when they take on Stuttgart at home. However, this game could be a tight affair as Stuttgart's back four are pretty solid.
Stanton Fredericks: Dortmund has a quality side. They'll win this match.
ORLANDO PIRATES V AL AHLY
League position: Pirates 15th and Al Ahly 1st
Useful facts: Orlando Pirates proved in the semi-final win against Esperance, that they can play away in Africa without a first leg lead and still get the win. Nonetheless, if Bucs can get at least a one-goal lead against the very solid Al Ahly then that would be an ideal situation.
Stanton Fredericks: I've put my money down on a Pirates win.
ARSENAL V LIVERPOOL
League position: Arsenal 1st and Liverpool 3rd
Useful facts: Arsenal are playing some majestic football with the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil both in blistering form. Liverpool are also in good nick with Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge both in sparkling form. This could be the game of the day in England.
Stanton Fredericks: I'm a born and bred Liverpool fan. Win for Liverpool, but I'm speaking from my heart not my head.
BLOEMFONTEIN CELTIC V MARITZBURG UNITED
League position: Celtic 11th and United 6th
Useful facts: Celtic are still chasing their first win under new coach, Ernst Middendorp, and will want to achieve that goal sooner rather than later. United recently got their first win under Clinton Larsen and may be slight favourites in this encounter.
Stanton Fredericks: Maritzburg win.
PLATINUM STARS V SUPERSPORT UNITED
League position: Stars 8th and United 1st
Useful facts: Stars' form has dropped off slightly since they won the MTN8, meaning Dinaledi might be resting on their laurels following a big success. Visiting United will no doubt be targeting all three points as they look to build their lead at the top of the PSL table.
Stanton Fredericks: Draw.
EVERTON V TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
League position: Everton 6th and Spurs 4th
League table: Everton have won four of their last five matches played and are in some great form. Spurs are also looking like a top outfit, meaning this could be a very interesting affair in Merseyside.
Stanton Fredericks: Wow, this is a big one. I'll say a draw. Before I go, I'd like to tell the readers that my predictions will be 90% correct. Ha, ha!
