"As you know there is interest from Holland and France in Elias Mokwana at the moment. But Esperance are believed to be waiting until the Club World Cup. The main reason is they apparently believe there will be more teams watching and then the value of the player will improve depending on his performances and that they would get more from the deal after the Club World Cup. So, yes, as much as there are teams interested in him right now, the move could only happen after the Club World Cup, " the Siya source stated.

A second insider mentioned that Esperance are keen to retain Mokwana for at least one more season if a transfer can't be arranged this year.
"They are looking at benefiting from him first before they can sell him. Remember he signed a three-year contract and they plan to have him for two full seasons before they can sell him. He has become an important member of the squad and they want to benefit from him first then sell him after that. That's their plan," the insider revealed to Siya crew.
