Aspiring young footballer, Davon Flandorp, is appealing to football clubs to give him a chance to showcase his talent at professional level.
Flandorp is from Stellenbosch in the Western Cape and is currently playing for a team called Jamestown FC in his neighbourhood.
The 20-year-old midfielder-cum-striker told the Siya crew that he came close to playing for Milano United after impressing the club during a trial.
"I am a 20-year-old footballer from Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. I play for a local team called Jamestown FC in Stellenbosch," said Flandorp.
"I had a trial with Milano United the last time I went out in search of a club. I made it (passed the trial) but there was no place for me to stay over there. I was also linked with Maties (Stellenbosch University FC).
"This is my dream (to play professional football). I play on the wing and I was a top goal scorer in the LFA (Local Football Association) here. I can play as a striker as well. I'm fast and have ability to score goals. I'm 1.7m tall and a good passer of the ball."
