Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Clifford Ngobeni has joined Alexandra Black Aces. The experienced player has been training with the newly-formed side under their head coach Steve Barker.

The ABC Motsepe League side is owned by former Mpumalanga Black Aces bosses Mario and George Morfou. Having worked under the Morfou brothers as a player during his time at AmaZayoni, Ngobeni availed himself to help the third tier side in their aim to gain promotion to the National First Division.

As revealed by the Siya crew last month, the Morfou brothers bought Tornado FC's ABC Motsepe League status and have renamed the club Alexandra Black Aces, after they sold their PSL status to John Comitis who formed Cape Town City.
