"He is one of the goalkeepers that the team is currently sure that they want to keep for a long time and that's why they are in talks with him for a new two-year contract. It's true they just renewed it last year but they believe now is the right time to secure his long-term contract and know that they are keeping him for another three years. It's a two-year contract which is on offer which will see him stay at the club until June 2028," the insider told Soccer Laduma.
A second source revealed that the club is also considering bringing in one or two additional keepers to strengthen their goalkeeping department at the start of the season.
"They have already shown interest in Zambian Toaster Nsabata and Royal AM's Xolani Ngcobo as well as Chippa United's Stanley Nwabali. But for them to do that they need to either loan or release some of the other goalkeepers they have now. Although they are looking at that, they are making sure that they keep Bruce (Bvuma) for a longer period. That's why they are offering him a new two-year deal," the second Siya source revealed.

Bvuma, now 29, was promoted to the senior Amakhosi team in 2018 from their development side. His best season was arguably last year, when he featured in most league games, despite being out of the starting eleven at the start of the campaign.
This season, he also found himself down the pecking order but has taken his opportunity when Fiacre Ntwari got injured, and is now ahead of Brandon Petersen and Bontle Molefe too.
Soccer Laduma reached out to Chiefs for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.
