However, Pirates find themselves having played four games less than league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns going into this clash.
The Soweto giants will not have coach Jose Riveiro on the touchline as he will be serving a one-game suspension for an accumulation of yellow card.
The home side, meanwhile, will be looking to get back on the winning trail following a goalless draw against Polokwane City last weekend.
The draw has left the Limpopo outfit in 14th position, but a win will take the side further away from the drop zone.
Gallants will be without the services of Monde Mphambaniso, who misses out this evening due to suspension.
