Lamontville Golden Arrows has given update on the future of Kaizer Chiefs target Pule Mmodi.
The attacking midfielder has been one of the players dominating headlines, while being eyed up by Kaizer Chiefs.
The 29-year-old is back with Abafana Bes'thende for their pre-season and Vusi Vilakazi has given the Siya crew the latest update on the player's future.
"Pule Mmodi is with us. We've never kept it a secret, because he is not fighting with the club," Vilakazi explained to the Siya crew.
"He wanted an opportunity to play in Joburg and the club wanted to help achieve that. The chairlady tried her best to make that happen but it didn't work out and (there is) nothing we can do about it.
"What we did now, is dealing with him psychologically and telling him that these things happen in football and another opportunity will come. For now, he can work harder to achieve that dream again because it is not over (yet)."
As previously reported by the Siya crew, sources have revealed that talks between Abafana Bes'thende and Amakhosi have reached a deadlock, with the transfer fee believed to be the stumbling block.
