Well-travelled midfielder, Tsweu Mokoro, is looking forward to their Nedbank Cup fixture against PSL side Maritzburg United this afternoon.
Mokoro who is now part of NFD outfit, African Warriors FC, will welcome the KwaZulu Natal opponents in their backyard at the Charles Mopeli Stadium, and home ground advantage will be essential for Warriors if they are to gain an upper hand over their more illustrious opponents.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma, Mokoro stressed the importance of confidence heading into the cup tie.
"We had a bad result against Santos last Sunday, and want to play well in this match", said Mokoro.
"When you play a bigger team you are always motivated to do your best, the young players in our team are looking at making a name for themselves so we are not scared them", highlighted the midfielder.
"Our team has players who have PSL experience, so if we beat them we could go all the way to win the cup," he concluded.
The match gets underway at 15:00.
