Kaitano Tembo's troops dominated the opening exchanges, with the likes of Bradley Grobler and Teboho Mokoena going close to scoring inside 15 minutes.   The deadlock was eventually broken on the 20-minute mark when Mxolisi Macuphu bagged his third goal for SuperSport with a close-range finish.   The Chilli Boys struggled early on, but they should have been level after 38 minutes as Lerato Manzini failed to beat Ronwen Williams from point-blank range before firing over from the rebound.   Clinton Larsen's side enjoyed a livelier end to the first half, but Williams was in inspired form to the deny the Port Elizabeth outfit an equaliser.   Both sides came out of the halftime break with the intention of getting goals, and SuperSport went close to doubling their lead after 65 minutes when  Mbongeni Mzimela produced a fine save to keep out Macuphu from a tight angle.   With time running out, Larsen threw on former Kaizer Chiefs winger William Twala for Ruzaigh Gamildien with 20 minutes remaining as they went in search of an equaliser.   Despite the late push from Chippa, SuperSport were able to see out the closing stages to claim three points and move up to fifth spot.   View The PSL Results
