Former Orlando Pirates captain Lucky Lekgwathi was in full support of his hometown team, Mamelodi Sundowns, when they faced Zamalek in the first-leg of the CAF Champions League.
The Brazilians defeated the Egyptian giants three-nil on the day, going one step closer to being crowned champions of the continent, as fans all across South Africa watched in anticipation.
The Siya crew caught up with "Captain My Captain", to hear what he thought about the great show of football from Pitso Mosimane's side, who will be taking a solid advantage into the second-leg of the competition.

"It was awesome, they dominated the game and I was happy. Sundowns wanted it more than Zamalek. The whole team stood out for me, plus their 12th man, the supporters," Lekgwathi said.
When asked about Anthony Laffor's positioning in the team and Bangaly Soumahoro coming in for the suspended Wayne Arendse, the former Pirates defender had this to say, "Since Laffor started playing in that false number nine, he made that position his.
"Sundowns are not a one man team, Soumahoro will do the job, and I have faith in him. Himself, Percy Tau and Tiyani Mabunda are the good examples."
Sundowns will face their North African rivals at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Egypt for the second-leg of the CAF Champions League final on 23 October at 20h30.
