Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Junior Khanye, has been invited for training at Palmeros FC in the ABC Motsepe League.
Khanye, 30, is attempting to make a comeback to professional football, after a long absence from the game.
“I have been communicating with the guys at Palmeros FC in the ABC Motsepe League about training with them. I speak to the club’s boss quite often and he has allowed me to go and train with them. The club’s coach, July Mahlangu, is fine with me coming to them for training.
"I'll starting training with them this afternoon and will see how it goes. I plan to come back to playing football in the PSL. I want to get fit and see if I can get something for next season,” said Khanye.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bennett Mnguni is an assistant coach at Palmeros FC, while Ian Palmer is the technical director.
