Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Siyabonga Nkosi, should be back in contention for a first team place when the Amakhosi welcome SuperSport United this weekend.
The 32-year-old hasn’t featured for Chiefs so far this season, due to a niggling calf injury, which is disappointing for the midfield man, having found some good form towards the end of his last campaign.
With the Glamour Boys having had a difficult start to their 2013/14 campaign, including their 1-1 draw with Moroka Swallows last night, Stuart Baxter will be eager to have a full squad at his disposal.
Up until now Nkosi has been playing with Chiefs’ reserves, although it is now thought that he could be in contention for the match day squad this weekend.
Fans of the club have been critical of the usually reliable Reneilwe Letsholonyane of late, and the return of Nkosi could be just the awakening that ‘Yeye’ needs in order to kick start his game.
Do you think Nkosi should get a chance in the Chiefs team if he's fit?
