Orlando Pirates defender, Edwin Gyimah, trained with his Ghanaian teammates this week, despite being involved in a serious car accident on Monday. However, it appears that the Black Stars player's injuries were not deemed serious enough to keep him away from the field, and he has reportedly been training with the national team for the last two days. According to GhanaSoccerNet, Gyimah 'looked unscathed' when he joined his international teammates in training as they prepare for the tournament that starts next month. The website also added that, 'Gyimah looks fit and could make Ghana's squad for the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon'. Avram Grant is expected to name his final squad for the 2017 AFCON in the coming days, with Ghana's tournament getting underway on January 17th.
