Following his exit from Kaizer Chiefs, Lebogang Manyama has a new deal pending in the PSL, as confirmed by a club boss.
Manyama, 31, has been unattached since parting ways with Chiefs in June and his delay in joining another club has been due to injury.
The 2016/17 PSL Footballer of the Season recently underwent an operation to mend the injury that hampered his progress at Amakhosi during his last season with the club.
Having previously played for Cape Town City and did well as one of the top performers for the team at the time, the Mother City club has been keen to re-sign Manyama to add to Eric Tinkler's side that will compete in the CAF Champions League this season.
Club boss John Comitis confirmed to the Siya crew that a potential deal for the attacker is on the cards at the Mother City outfit.
"Lebogang Manyama... We've invited him to do his rehab with us. He had an operation a few weeks ago and we will be monitoring his progress, and certainly, he's a player that can help us. We just hope that he recovers fully so that we can start talking to him," confirmed Comitis, speaking to the Siya crew at a press conference held by the club.
