Bloemfontein Celtic Chairman, Max Tshabalala, has cleared the air following an error made by Siwelele defender, Keegan Ritchie who claimed in an interview that Tshabalala was the owner of both ABC Motsepe League side, Roses United and Bloemfontein Celtic.

“I am the former owner of Roses United hence people continue to link me with the team. Roses were sold to Mr. Sainty Molale who’s the sole owner. Comments made by Keegan are inaccurate, and I have absolutely no relationship with that team,” said Tshabalala on Siwelele’s official website.
Ritchie has since apologised for the error he made.
“I want to unreservedly apologise for incorrectly claiming that Mr. Max Tshabalala owns both Roses United and Celtic. I genuinely misunderstood the question and mistakenly responded without thinking as the interview was quick. It was not my intention to bring the name of the chairman into disrepute and ask for pardon for any harm or inconvenience made in the process,” apologised Ritchie.
